Sustainability Statement
Our aim is to reduce waste and maximize our resources and lessen our impact on the environment to achieve this we “do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small” (Lao Tzu):
What we do?
- We source our office paper and marketing materials from sustainable suppliers
- We recycle our printer cartridges, paper cans and bottles
- We have recycling bins throughout our building to encourage our users to recycle
- Dispense free energy saving light bulbs to eligible residents
- The redevelopment of the Mayville Community Centre will see the centre become the first carbon neutral community centre in the UK by introducing renewable energy systems and excellent insulation.
Influencing others and working in Partnership
- The redevelopment of the Mayville Community Centre will allow Mildmay Community Partnership to develop a community education project to show and educated residents and community organisation about sustainability
